I've jumped onto the "20 Things" bandwagon, and so today I'm going to be telling you, wait for it... twenty things about myself. I bet you didn't see that coming. I've seen a lot of bloggers do it recently and I thought it looked like fun! Also, I couldn't find any proper quality images of me as it seems I never use my DSLR to take photos of myself, rarely use my webcam and most of my phone photos are in Instagram dimensions. I should probably get that sorted for future posts. Anyway, here are twenty things about me.
2. I have been involved in music since I was fourteen when I created a MySpace page (aww) to promote UK bands. I eventually made a page to promote US bands, and then I was contacted about providing a quote for an article. I then ended up writing for the site that wanted the quote, several others and then I created my own music website. We now produce monthly online magazines, and I launched a music PR firm this past July.
3. I was an extra on a local TV show for two years, and during one episode I had my first on screen kiss at the age of thirteen. In another episode I was flourbomed (flour was poured all over me), and it stuck to my hair so badly that the hair department had to help me fix it. This was considered special treatment for anyone who wasn't a regular cast mate.
4. I'm also in the Katy Perry movie for about 0.3 seconds, jumping up and down in slow motion with my friend Tash.
5. I feel like I'm polar opposite to myself depending on the days. Some days I love to be lazy, ignore everyone and curl up in bed and watch TV. The next day I'm taking on the world by storm checking everything that is humanly possible off my to do list and working for as long as I can.
6. The dentist told me I'm not allowed to have sugar in my tea anymore, because I still have some baby teeth that have no adult teeth underneath them.
7. I'm pretty sure I have SAD, and believe that is the reason behind why I hate winter and why I love summer.
8. I used to dance when I was younger and I regret giving it up.
9. In life I think you should do what you want to do, not what others expect you to.
10. Sometimes I feel like I don't fit into the generic blogging stereotype because I don't have a massive interest is fashion or beauty, I'm terrible at crafts and DIY, and I'm just here because I like to document my life and I like to write.
11. I'm quite small, as in 5"2 height wise and I have small feet too, they're a size UK 4.
12. I have flown on an airplane two times by myself for longhaul flights.
13. I'm not an overly emotional person, and I tend to cry more when I'm angry rather than sad.
14. I am yet to break a bone in my body.
15. I am in the final year of university and I don't even want to pursue the subject I'm studying anymore.
16. To some extent I believe in karma, but I think you only deserve to get what you want in life if you work for it.
17. I have seen over 150 concerts and it is one of my favourite things to do.
18. I prefer the city to the country and I want to move out of England.
19. I can't take tablets unless they're facing the right way in my mouth.
20. I once applied for a job at Universal Studios in Orlando.
Now it's your turn! Either tell me something about yourself or link me to your 20 Things post if you've done it yourself.

I love when people's name (middle names) have a special meaning
ReplyDeleteAwesome! It's amazing that you've created your own website to promote bands and that you been an extra! Very cool! I'm only 4'10", I also cry more when I'm angry than sad, and I've also never broken a bone. It's so funny that you want to leave England because I would love to live in England for several weeks or a few months.

I've also never broken a bone! Probably because I've been such a homebody my whole life haha. And over 150 concerts?? That's impressive!

I agree with those above - that is super neat that you've been on tv! I always thought it'd be cool to be an extra as a dead person on a show.
