You're Just A Hideaway
Ever since I started taking videos, and even beforehand my love of writing had started to become almost none-existent. Couple that with being in my final year of magazine journalism and I guess things start to make sense. I am kind of sad that I have let this blog fall, and I think it's been a mixture of falling out of love with writing, being incredibly bad at time management and also partly because it didn't fit with in with the bloggers stereotypes that we're all undeniably surrounded by. I can't guarantee that I will post three times a week, I can't guarantee that my posts will be of interest / beneficial to you, but what I can promise is that I'm going to continue writing as and when I feel like it. That just so happens to be now.

Earth To Blog: I'm Not Dead
As I was going back through my flagged emails in my inbox (where I put all of my important stuff), I found an interview that I had done back in November. The questions were asked by Angela, but as far as I'm aware, it was never published. So after a two month hiatus in the blogging world I thought I'd go ahead and be pretty narcissistic and post an interview with myself.

Do More: January Edition
So my resolution this year was to do more, and while that's pretty vague I explained myself fairly well in this post. Lots of people set monthly goals, so I thought I'd see what things I've done more of this January. Before I break it all down I'm going to say that I already know it's not a great deal. January is a rubbish month in my opinion, and I never have any motivation to do anything until February rolls around. But anyway, here we go. Do More: January Edition...

A Video Adventure
A few years ago, I made a YouTube channel on a whim to upload videos of live shows. It's still in existence, and I still use it for the same reason now, and there's some end of year videos and university videos on there too. A while after that I had a channel that I created to help me play guitar. I played guitar for a month and documented my progress every day. I rarely ever spoke to the camera but one day a girl in my class at school told me she had found the channel. That night I deleted it out of sheer embarrassment, I'd never made it for people to find and I was horrified. Then I had another channel that I used just for talking about random things, and answering all of those tag videos that floated around on Tumblr and YouTube at the time. I later deleted that, too. The point of this post is to actually let you know about a channel my friend Tash and I created back in 2010, appropriately named tashandbekka.

A Spot of Tea
So I'd be lying if I said my life has been crazy busy lately, because it's been the complete opposite. I've always really disliked January for some reason, and I find that my go-get-it attitude that most people have in January after New Years, only springs into action in February. Usually this makes me super mad because I don't have the motivation to go and do anything, but this year I've embraced it and given myself some actual "me" time that has lasted for longer than a couple of days. It's been really great to have a chance to reflect on things and just have some time off. Since I haven't blogged in a while, I thought I'd share with you one of my favourite places to catch up with friends, get some inspiration and also some tasty tea while I'm at it.
