Although the blogosphere has been going crazy with Autumn related things since the first of September broke, we only officially entered Autumn at the beginning of this week . To welcome Autumn properly, I thought I'd make a list of the top five things that I love about Autumn.
Scarves
- I'm one of those people who are constantly cold, so I'll be wearing about five layers of clothing before we make it to the end of October. That being said, I have a bit of an obsession with scarves, and I tend to get attached to them and wear them for multiple winters once I've found one I like. The most recent scarf I've bought is this tartan one that I fell in love with the second I seen it. It was £4 pound from Primark too, bargain!
Exploring
- I think Autumn is probably the best season to go exploring, purely because it's the best temperature for it. It's not too hot and it's not too cold, but it's cold enough to wrap up and stop for a coffee for along the way. I took these photos last Autumn when I went to Durham with Penner.
Hot Drinks
- One of my next favourite things about the colder months is hot drinks! I'm a big tea drinker but I'm excited to try out a whole load of different recipes this year. I'm not normally too adventurous but I'm planning on changing that. Check out the recipe for Nutella Hot Chocolate that I found.
Leaves
- Alongside the rest of the world I love seeing the leaves change colour as the months go on. I think it's probably one of the best things about Autumn and it's just so pretty to see!
Boots
- The final thing to make my list is boots. I am so so picky when it comes to boots because I always love ones with heels, but they're just not practical in the snow at all. When I was browsing online my eyes caught these practically perfect ones from New Look that I just had to snap up. £30 for boots that I can style with pretty much anything, won't see me falling on my bum when the weather gets worse, and won't let the rain in? Perfect.

ReplyDeleteI agree 100% with this list! Scarves, boots, exploring, tea, and leaves! Sounds wonderful to me! While I love hot drinks though, I also enjoy cold drinks in the winter too. Nothing will stop me from devouring Passionfruit tea from Starbucks in the cold months! lol
