Autumn Walks

There's something that I love about walking in Autumn months, before it gets super cold that is. It's always so calming to watch the sun set over patches of the grass and occasionally shine through a gap in the trees. I took my camera along with me when I walked my dog last week and managed to capture some of my favourite photos that I've taken this year. I always think simplicity is so beautiful, and taking my camera really made take note of the simple things that I walk past all the time. For the first time in a long time, I learned to appreciate how pretty every snippets of every day life can be. It's really made me want to take my camera out more during my day-to-day life and photograph what I see, regardless of whether it makes a "good" picture or not. I also learned how difficult it can be to photograph dogs, especially my own as she's not even pictured below because she was too busy rolling around in the grass and chasing a ball that wasn't hers.

Autumn, I think I'm warming to you.

P.s I've created a survey to help me with a big project at university and be ever so grateful if you could fill it out and/or share it with anyone who might take part. Let me know if you do it, and I'll give you a virtual high five!

  2. I'm so happy for the cooler weather. It hasn't been quite as hot this summer in Texas but it's nice having the doors and windows open and the cool breeze coming in.

I tried filling out the survey but question four requires that you mark a box even if you want to answer and fill out "other."

  3. Lovely images as always! I was only just moaning how I'll miss this outdoorsy element to Autumn this year, London just isn't as good as home for crunching the leaves in my wellies or wrapping up warm against the sea breeze!
