Exploring: Disneyland Paris Studios

If you've been keeping up to date with my Exploring: Disneyland mini-series, then you'll know that today I'm sharing with you my trip to the Studios, which is the other "park" in Disneyland Paris. If you haven't been keeping up you can read all about my journey to France, and what Disneyland Paris Park is like.

I am in no way doing this trip in chronological order, but instead I'm breaking down Disneyland and then moving onto Paris. So the Studios is the secondary park which usually shuts first. We tried to do the three rides we wanted to do on the Saturday morning before we headed to Paris, but the wait times were super long (or so we thought). Instead when we went back on Sunday morning it was ridiculously foggy, but that didn't stop us or anyone else in the park for that matter.

Our first port of call was getting a fast-pass for The Hollywood Tower Of Terror. This meant we could wander round the park and come back at a certain time to go on the ride, essentially missing out the queue. We instead waited 75 minutes for the Crush ride (which is absolutely amazing by the way), and ended up going across to the other park to do Space Mountain and Indiana Jones again. By the time The Hollywood Tower Of Terror came around I genuinely thought I was gonna be sick. I absolutely hate lifts, hate the thought of them, and putting myself into a fake life, going to the 13th floor and dropping all the way to the bottom is not my idea of fun. I am glad I did it though, I guess it's just one of those things.

The third and final ride we wanted to go on was the Aerosmith Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. It was closed when we checked on the Saturday morning, but when we went back to have a look it was open. We stood in line for an hour and a half before being told that it was closed for maintenance, so we never got to ride it.

It was a little bit of a sour part to the day, but probably the only disappointment we faced the whole weekend away. We ended up heading into the food mall which is decorated with crazy lights for some food, and spent the rest of our day shopping.
