Would you like a [S]Trip Tease?

Now don't panic if you're checking your Bloglovin feed on your lunch hour, this content is perfectly suitable for work, home, and wherever else it is that you like to read blogs from. I just thought I'd try and be funny, because every time I read "triptease" my brain puts an S at the start, and even auto correct just tried to get me to do it as well. But alas, I'm talking about *TRIPTEASE - so what's it all about?

Triptease is one of the coolest new websites I've seen, and it's essentially a blend of Trip Advisor and Instagram. I was invited to try out the site by Ella over at The Little Brown Book, and I have to be honest and say I was a little reluctant to begin with. I considered not bothering because I immediately labelled it as a social site I'd not use, but I was actually really wrong.

I ended up checking out the site and signed up out of curiosity more than anything. I browsed around a little bit first, and got the hang of it all really quickly. It has a great minimalistic style and everything is incredibly easy to work. Images are the main focus of the reviews, but they're written from honest perspectives. Whether you're looking for your next holiday spot or just somewhere nice to eat, Triptease will cater to your needs. You can also add to things called "collections", so if you find a nice place you can essentially bookmark it so you never forget about it.

Though I will definitely always make sure that my adventures are documented right here on Orbiting Oceans, I think Triptease is easily going to become one of my go-to sites. You can check out the website here if you want too!

  1. This seems like an excellent site. My main problem with other travel sites is there's no way to save your ideas in a format that also looks beautiful and this does look like it's well designed and visually appallingly I will definitely check it out! Thanks for sharing xoxo

  2. This is a really cool idea! I'm so glad to hear about it, especially as I've just recently learned to appreciate trip advisor, but would never say no to an aesthetic upgrade.
